Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and one of the few freestanding mountains in the world. It is a challenge for every trekker and mountaineer to climb to the summit. Being home to some of the most uncommon wildlife and vegetation types in the world gives Mt. Kilimanjaro a personality of its own.
The Machame Route, Londrosi Route and Umbwe Routes are known as the whisky Routes which are very rich for flora and fauna and are the hardest routes where you can learn how the first, second and third eruptions occurred. The Marangu route is the easiest route, which is also known as the Coca-Cola route or the eastern route.
